STUDENT OF UNILAG PROTEST AGAINST Moshood Abiola University of Lagos


It was breaking news to all Unilag student and exco.This morning as President Goodluck Jonathan renamed The University of Lagos to the Moshood Abiola University of Lagos......

Federal government of nigeria rename the prestigious university after the late  politician Moshood Abiola who won the annulled June 12, 1993 election. Moshood Abiola University, President Goodluck Jonathan announced this morning Tuesday, May 29, 2012.

And now the Students of the university as come out to protest against the sudden change of name.

They are right now protesting outside the school premises and have even moved to Yaba. Most roads around that area are blocked right now.
 
Where some witness are saying that the studdent are chanting anti-slogons ith the university’s Director of Student Affairs, Professor Olukayode Amund, begging the students and calling for caution.
