Professor Kolawole Olu Owolabi of university of ibadan dead today at Market place
(university of Ibadan), founded in 1948.but suddenly collapsed and died at market place today in mokola roundabout in the ancient city of Ibadan ,His body has been deposited in the mortuary.
Sources wittness the situation told news men that Professor came down from is car at mokola roundabout having in mind to buy some items in the market. but suddenly collapsed.while people around called the police for the suddenly collapsed of the late Professor Kolawole Olu Owolabi and was taking to unknown hospital in Ibadan.
Became Dean of Faculty of Arts in august 2011,was for head of department of Philosophy from 2002 to 2004....
He bagged B.A. in Philosophy in 1983 and a PhD in Philosophy 1989, both degrees from the University of Lagos.He then returned to the Obafemi Awolowo University where he obtained LLB in 2006 and proceeded to the Law School Abuja between September 2006 to June 2007.He equally bagged LLM in 2010 from OAU.
Born in Ikene Remo in Ogun State on May 30, 1961, Professor Olu-Owolabi hailed from Igbogila, Yewa-North Local Government.He is survived by wife and two children.
