Mikel Obi Delete Twitter Account Over Racist Abuse

Super eagles and Chelsea  midfielder john Mikel obi as being latest black sports man that are label with racist abuse in football.Mikel obi deleted his twitter account today after he was  racially abused over the mistakes he did that cost the London side victory on Wednesday uefa champions league game against the Italian champions Juventus on Wednesday Sept. 19th.

The game came to and end of 2-2 why Chelsea fans blamed Mikel obi for  not preventing the equalizing goal before ten minutes to the end of the game.Chelsea fans racially abused Mikel on his Twitter account @Mikel12Official, prompting the Super Eagles midfielder to delete the account which he set up just a few months back.

Chelsea said they have informed the police after being made aware of the racist Tweets. A statement read:

We've been made aware of racist tweets targeted at Mikel which are totally unacceptable, disgusting and abhorrent. We've informed the police and support taking the strongest possible action."
